ROCHESTER, NY - The Utica College cross country teams picked up even more than their normal share of accolades as the honors continued to roll in with the 2018 Empire 8 postseason awards announced on Friday. In the major awards, Veteran standout Kaitlyn Stinson (South Kortright, NY/South Kortright) was named the Empire 8 Conference Cross Country Women's Runner of the Year by the conference's coaches, and the coaching staff led by Eric Parker and Sam Catterson was named the Empire 8 men's and women's coaching staff of the year by their peers. In addition, nine other athletes received all-conference recognition of some variety as the Pioneers were greatly rewarded for winning both Empire 8 championships for the first time in school history this fall.
